Psychotherapist

Holly Ziff

Holly offers a non-judgemental space to explore what matters most to you and uncover what might be getting in the way of living fully. Whether you’re navigating a major life change, feeling stuck, or simply wondering how to move forward, her empathic and engaging style helps you feel more grounded and clear about your path ahead.

She has experience both in the NHS and private practice, supporting people with challenges such as relationship issues and life transitions, low mood and depression. In her private practice, she works mostly with people who struggle with anxiety, low self-esteem and self-doubt, and believes that clients already hold many of the answers within themselves, sometimes they just need the confidence and space to discover them. This might involve practical tools for coping in the present, or reflective work that brings new understanding of the past.

Holly draws on a range of approaches tailored to each person, but at the heart of her work is Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). ACT is a modern, evidence-based therapy that starts from the belief that difficult thoughts and feelings don’t have to be obstacles to living well. Instead of getting stuck in battles with your mind, Holly helps you step back, notice these experiences, and create space for them.

Holly supports clients in learning practical skills to handle challenges with more ease while staying connected to the things that matter most. By clarifying your values and committing to small, meaningful actions, you can begin to build a life that feels more authentic, fulfilling, and resilient. Many clients find this approach both grounding and liberating, less about “fixing” themselves and more about gaining the freedom to live with greater self-trust, compassion, and purpose.

Alongside her private work she also works with a maternal mental health service supporting women through all stages of motherhood specialising in pregnancy, birth, postpartum and the early years of parenthood.

Holly is currently accepting new clients for online therapy sessions.
